Onions have been a running theme lately. Maybe because our kitchen is NEVER without them. I always feel I can identify with the complaints of the Israelites wandering in the desert having to eat food without onions, leeks or garlic (Numbers 11:5). That would get to me too. I'm looking forward to fresh chives, one of the first plants to appear in the spring in our frozen, snowy state.
